Philippines president order a study on issuing digital nomad visas to remote workers, Bongbong Marcos the president of Philippines accept the suggestion of Private sector Advisory Council on granting digital nomad visas.
The details of this visa is not clear yet, the responsible authorities work on it and with the completing the studies and necessary arrangements it will be announced by the government of Philippines .
What’s Philippines digital nomad visa?
Philippines digital nomad visa is a residence permit which will allow foreigner remote workers to work from Philippines.
The Advisory Council said in a statement that Philippines need to issue digital nomad visas quickly to attract remote workers for long stays in the country.
It’s not yet clear what the duration of stay will be for the Philippines digital nomad visas, but it seems that they will be valid for at least one year. However, there has been no official confirmation yet.

Philippines will be the latest country who announce digital nomad visa, but the neighbours already announced digital nomad visas and since long time they work on to attract more digital nomads.
