As UAE lefited visa ban on Nigerians how they should apply according to new conditions

The government of Nigeria has announced that the United Arab Emirates ended visa ban Nigerian passport holders, from 15 July Nigerian nationals can apply for UAE Visas.

The government of United Arab Emirates also confirm that the visa ban on Nigerian nationals ended, they now can apply for any type of UAE Visa.

The good news finally come for Nigerians but there are some new updates that Nigerian nationals need to know about that, before they apply for UAE visa they need a document verification.

Yes UAE Lifted visa ban on Nigerians but some updates are implemented that Nigerian nationals who be aware of it when they want to apply for UAE visa.

The first step for the documents verification, they can’t apply for UAE visa without an approval or confirmation of Thier documents from the government of United Arab Emirates, they need to submit their visa required documents to the government of United Arab Emirates if the documents approved by UAE government than they can start applying for UAE visa.

If the government of UAE don’t verify the documents this mean they are not eligible to apply for UAE visa.

When your documents are get verified by UAE government they will grant you documents verification number, with this number you will be able to apply for UAE visa.

If the age of visa applicant is low than 13 than they don’t need a document verification number, they need to apply without that number directly.

How to get Documents verification number for UAE visa?

Nigerian nationals can get documents verification number online, all they need to visit the documents verification Hub and start their verification process. they need to submit all the required information and documents to thid hub and when it get verified they can apply for UAE visa.

To apply for documents verification Nigerian nationals need these documents:

Bank statement: when you apply for documents verification a Bank statement is necessary, this statement should show that your Bank balance has minimum 10,000 USD.

You will need same Bank statement when you apply for UAE Visa, a minimum $ 10,000 balance is a must.

Round trip ticket: the government of UAE want to issue visa to those Nigerians who visit UAE and than come back to Nigeria, so a round trip ticket is one of main requirements for Nigerians.

Proof of accomodation: you need to submit a document which show where you will stay in UAE, this document will be verified by the government of UAE.

A proof of accomodation can be hotel reservation or rental agreement, however you need to pay for these documents advance, if you submit Hotel reservation it be paid.

You also need to pay the visa fee in UAE visas centre in Nigeria.

When you submitted all these documents along with the required information you need to wait for 5 days, it will take up to 5 days that the government of UAE verify your documents.

When you get your documents verification number you can start UAE visa application directly.

UAE visa fee for Nigerians

UAE imposed a heavy visa fee on Nigerians, UAE visa fee for Nigerian citizens is $425 which is higher than any country, previously this was only $100.

This visa will be for 14 days, after a long period UAE opened visa for Nigerians with heavy and very strict conditions.

When they apply for documents verification number they need to pay $425, even if the visa doesn’t approved the fee will not be refunded. well it’s a high fee but the government of UAE now opened a new center of documents verification for Nigerians which will cost a lot.

UAE is known for it’s successful tourism industry, the country is one the most visited country in the world, normally since years the UAE visa was one of the easiest Visas but this flexible policy was misused by travelers of some countries and UAE now implement strict requirements for visa and entry to the country.

In October, 2022 the government of UAE announce a complete visa ban on Nigerian passport holders which led to tension between tow countries. along with this ban the UAE top airlines Emirates suspended it’s operation to Nigeria.

After long talks between the two countries, a deal was finally agreed upon to lift the visa ban on Nigerians. However, it was not actively ended until July 15. The government of the UAE announced that, from July 15, Nigerian nationals can apply for UAE visas.

Most visitors from 3rd world countries like Pakistan, India and some African countries are misuse their visas in UAE, they work with visitor visa, they overstay their visas and even they involve in crimes.

TO avoid it the UAE immigration authorities impose new entry requirements, visitor with visit visa need a return ticket, a 3,000 AED cash with them and proof of accomodation in UAE.
